The 2009 ELCA Youth Gathering will bring 36,000 high school youth and adults to New Orleans in the summer of 2009 for a week of focus on faith and ways to be alongside a community still struggling in the aftermath of hurricane Katrina. The goal of the logo is to convey a sense of energy and movement with the cross in the center of it all.
